André C. Meyerhans has been nominated as the twenty-fourth most influential architect of the region in 2015 by the Middle East Architects Magazine. 

André is a member of the Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects (sia) and holds a Masters in Architecture from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETHZ) as well as an MBA from London Business School. Before his independent career, he worked with signature architect Santiago Calatrava, created brand architecture for Alfred Dunhill, Cartier, Hugo Boss as well as Christian LaCroix, established the architectural department for an international engineering company and developed real estate for various sovereign wealth funds in the Middle East. André is a member of the advisory board of DesignMENA, a judge for various regional architecture and design awards as well as a regular key note speaker at industry.

His architectural work stretches from urban planning, to residential, hospitality, commercial, educational and cultural projects. Most prominent executed projects include Al Nadi Tower in Abu Dhabi and New Garhoud Bridge in Dubai. 

André’s conceptual understanding of the creative process blurs the boundaries between architecture, art and design. Many of the smaller scaled objects derive from the same conceptual logic as architectural projects and result in artworks or sculptural furniture.

His artworks have been exhibited at Art Dubai, Dubai Design Days and the International Conference on Contemporary Islamic Art in Istanbul as well as in various art galleries in the UAE and Kuwait. Works of his have been commissioned for the lobbies of Yas Viceroy Hotel and the Swiss Embassy in Abu Dhabi. The royal art collection of Abu Dhabi as well as the one of Kuwait contain works of his. His art pieces are also part of other important collections in the Middle East, Asia and Europe.

Mid 2012, André founded Mario Uboldi Jewellery Art to brand his smaller creations in precious metals and stones.
